Sorcery: Contested Realm

Sorcery: Contested Realm is an “old school” fantasy trading card game, designed by Erik Olofsson and published in 2022 by Erik’s Curiosa, built around hand-painted art and kitchen-table play. Two players take the roles of Avatars, each with an Atlas of site cards and a Spellbook of spells, minions, and relics, and build a shared grid called the Realm as they cast elemental magic and move their forces across it. You win by dropping the opposing Avatar to zero life—putting it at death’s door—and then landing a final death blow.
