Fresh New Logo Unveiled

At Blue Mist Collectibles, we're always looking ahead — not just with the amazing collectibles we offer, but also with how we present ourselves to the world. That’s why we’re excited to officially reveal our brand-new logo!

Why the Change?

We wanted our logo to be more than just a cool image — we wanted it to be recognizable, timeless, and synonymous with all thing’s collectibles. That meant steering clear of specific items like cards, dice, or figures. Why? Because Blue Mist Collectibles is about the full spectrum. We’re a one-stop shop for all kinds of collectibles, and who knows what exciting additions the future will bring?

Our Design Philosophy

When we sat down to imagine the logo, one of our biggest goals was simplicity and recognizability. We wanted something that instantly communicates trust, authenticity, and professionalism.

Of course, with a name like Blue Mist, one thing was a given — the logo had to be blue (no arguments there, haha!). But rather than stick to just one tone, we leaned into analogous color theory, blending shades of teal, blue, and green to create a palette that’s refreshing and harmonious.

Since "Mist" is in our name, we knew we had to incorporate some kind of water element. We explored several ideas with our designer — from literal mist effects to watery textures — and ultimately landed on a more abstract representation: waves crashing down. It’s subtle but powerful, adding movement and depth to the logo without being overly specific.

Where did the name Blue Mist come from?

Jacob and Chris have been using the name "Blue Mist"—and normally spelling it "Blue Myst"—for nearly two decades across various video game guilds and clans. The name traces back to the release of Myst in 1993, a game we both loved and bonded over. The "Blue" part of our name was inspired by our shared preference for the Blue version of Pokémon over Red, adding a personal touch to a name that’s followed us through countless adventures.

What’s Next?

This logo is more than just a visual upgrade. It represents a new chapter for Blue Mist Collectibles — one where we continue to grow, evolve, and bring you the most exciting collectibles the market has to offer. We’re proud of where we started, and even more excited about where we’re headed.
