Unfortunately, we recently have seen that individuals are using CT scanners to determine the contents of unopened packs which threaten the integrity of the trading card game hobby and undermine its very essence.

What’s the Issue?

A recent article highlighted a company who is now offering the service of using a CT scanner to scan unopened Pokémon card packs and sealed products to reveal the contents without actually opening them. This practice allows sellers to cherry-pick the most valuable cards, leaving the less desirable packs for unsuspecting buyers.
