Paradise Dragona is a subset heavily focused on Pokémon that are originally Dragon-type in the core series games, such as Latias, Latios, and Gouging Fire; and Trainer cards depicting characters associated with Dragon-type Pokémon, such as Drayton and Lisia. It also continues to introduce Stellar-type Tera Pokémon ex into the meta, with Stellar-type Alolan Exeggutorex as its central Pokémon. A tropical/summer theme is also generally present within cards in the set.
